Cookie Policy
Effective date: 22 May 2026
Last updated: 28 May 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Syngulr (“Syngulr”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit syngulr.ai, use our applications, APIs, beta programs, or any related services (together, the “Service”).
This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in those documents.
By using the Service, and (in regulated regions) by accepting the consent banner we present to you, you agree to the use of cookies as described in this Policy. You can change your choices at any time using the controls described in Section 7.
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They allow the site to recognize your device, remember preferences, and collect information about how you use the site.
We also use similar technologies, including:
- Pixels and web beacons– tiny image files used to measure whether a page or email has been viewed.
- Local and session storage – storage spaces in your browser used to hold data on your device.
- Software development kits (SDKs) – code embedded in applications that performs functions similar to cookies.
- Device and browser fingerprinting signals – characteristics of your device and browser used, in limited cases, for fraud and abuse prevention.
In this Policy, we use the word “cookies” to refer to all of these technologies unless we say otherwise.
First-party vs third-party
- First-party cookies are set by Syngulr.
- Third-party cookies are set by service providers and partners acting on our behalf or, where you have authorized them, on their own behalf.
Session vs persistent
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
3. Categories of cookies we use
We group cookies into four categories. The table in Section 4 shows the specific cookies in each category.
3.1 Strictly necessary
Required to operate the Service – for example, to authenticate you, route requests, remember your consent choices, and protect against fraud and abuse. These cookies are always on; you cannot opt out of them through the consent banner, though you can block them at the browser level (in which case parts of the Service may not work).
3.2 Functional
Remember choices you make so the Service behaves the way you expect – for example, language, time zone, UI layout, recently used workflows, and accessibility preferences. Disabling these reduces the quality of your experience but does not break core functionality.
3.3 Analytics and performance
Help us understand how the Service is used so we can measure performance, debug errors, and prioritize improvements. We configure analytics tools to minimize the personal information collected (for example, IP truncation where supported) and use aggregated reports.
3.4 Marketing
Help us measure the effectiveness of our marketing on syngulr.ai and on a limited set of partner properties, and (where applicable) show you relevant Syngulr content elsewhere on the web. We do not use marketing cookies inside the authenticated product area used to build workflows or process Customer Content.
4. Cookies we use
The table below lists the cookies currently active on syngulr.ai and in the Service. We update it as our vendor stack changes; the live version is always the one published at https://syngulr.ai/cookie-policy.

5. Legal basis for using cookies
Where the law requires it (for example, in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), we set non-essential cookies only after you give consent through our banner. Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Service.
In the United States, including California, we treat the use of certain advertising and analytics cookies as “sharing” or “sale” of personal information under applicable state law. You can opt out as described in Section 7, and we honor browser-level Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out.
This Section 5 supplements the legal-bases table in Section 3 of our Privacy Policy.
6. Cookies and AI processing
Cookies are not used to feed Customer Content into AI training. Consistent with our commitment in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, we do not use Customer Content to train or fine-tune our own AI models or any third-party model, and cookies do not change that. Analytics cookies may collect aggregated usage signals (for example, which features are used or where errors occur), and we may use that aggregated, de-identified data to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
7. Your choices
You can manage cookies in several ways:
7.1 Our consent controls
- Consent banner. When you first visit syngulr.ai from a region where consent is required, we show a banner that lets you accept all, reject all, or choose by category.
- Cookie preferences. You can reopen your preferences at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of syngulr.ai.
- Account settings. Logged-in users can manage marketing communication preferences in account settings.
7.2 Global Privacy Control
We recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of “sale” and “sharing” of personal information under the CPRA and equivalent US state laws. If your browser sends GPC, we will treat it as an opt-out for the browser and device that sent it.
7.3 Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, or warn you before they are set. Instructions are available in your browser’s help documentation. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent core parts of the Service from working.
7.4 Mobile device controls
On mobile operating systems, you can reset or limit advertising identifiers and control app tracking permissions through your device settings.
7.5 Third-party opt-outs
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Industry opt-outs: use optout.aboutads.info (US), youronlinechoices.eu (EU), or youronlinechoices.com (UK).
These third-party tools are operated by third parties, not by Syngulr, and may change over time.
8. Cross border transfers
Some of the providers listed in Section 4 operate outside your country, including in the United States. Where this involves a transfer of personal information out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on the safeguards described in Section 9 of our Privacy Policy, including the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, in technology, or in law. If a change is material, we will give at least 30 days’ noticeby email or in-product before it takes effect, and we will re-prompt for consent where the law requires. The “Last updated” date at the top of this Policy shows when it was most recently revised.
